Our story

How we started

Vivolution was founded in 2011 by Mark Roger to help promising technology businesses across the UK, turn potential into something real.

In the early years, we worked closely with founders and corporate partners to bring new ideas to market. What became clear very quickly was that success is not just about innovation; it comes from making the right decisions early, building the right capability, and staying focused as complexity grows. That insight has shaped how we work today.

We partner with founders, leadership teams, investors and acquirers to help businesses grow, scale and create lasting value. Our work spans the full lifecycle, from early traction through to investment, scale and exit and across VC portfolios where consistency and execution matter most.

We are deliberately hands‑on. We do not operate at arm’s length or offer advice in isolation. Instead, we focus on the things that move businesses forward; sharpening direction, strengthening revenue, building software, improving financial control, valuation modeling and preparing for investment or acquisition.

Today, Vivolution is a multidisciplinary team based in Glasgow and Edinburgh operating across the UK and Internationally, with deep experience supporting technology-led businesses at every stage.
