The Vivolution team has been of great support, primarily through a number of funding clinics, but also by facilitating introductions to the Business Gateway, LINC, SIB and other key players in the start-up funding environment. The team has always been available and provided a clear overview of the funding landscape in Scotland and I would like to thank the team for their friendly and expert contribution. At BLK we are now proud of having been selected among the top 50 tech start-up in the UK and we will be pitching for £0.6m at the EIE showcase investor event in October 2020.

We are delighted and honoured to be the first customer for the Meridian IT PowerAI Vision platform, powered by IBM. This will enable OCB to dramatically speed up the development and commercialisation of precision tools to advance standards of care in personalised medicine for cancer. Vivolution has been fundamental in creating this collaboration with IBM and Meridian IT and to help solve a global healthcare challenge.

The Vivolution team have been an invaluable and trusted resource to FinTech Scotland and built a close working relationship over the duration of the Network Integrator contract. They helped us drive tangible outcomes, engaging with FS institutions, Professional Services Firms, Global Technology Providers and Investors which resulted in significant benefits to the wider Fintech Cluster. We look forward to continue working with Vivolution as they independently shape bespoke projects to support Industry, Academia, Investors and Fintech Scale-Ups as a Fintech Venture Builder.

We at Oxx highly value our relationship with Vivolution. We have utilised their network connectivity with early stage investment opportunities in Scotland - a network they have spent many years cultivating. We have had the pleasure of attending Vivolution hosted events in Edinburgh, which have been valuable opportunities to connect with other financing partners interested in developing Scottish investment opportunities. Vivolution have engaged with us on several fronts; for example intros they have made plus, the thorough preparation leading up to the IBM event in London and the opportunity to meet with IBM FS architects/client execs, new VC’s and FS institutions - all of which we could not have done on our own. We were invited to a meeting with SIB and Scottish Investors to share ideas on requirements for Fintech investments. Vivolution have always shown an interest to explore new and innovative commercialisation models to help Fintechs explore wider opportunities across international markets.

Vivolution has provided critical help when Ocyan was first opening in Scotland, by providing us with the key network that we needed to bootstrap. The company also supported Ocyan with navigating the numerous grant funding options available within Scotland as well as the Innovate UK programme of funding and introductions to IBM.

The Vivolution team has an extensive understanding of the pains of their Fintech client portfolio and the angel investment market in Scotland and have been very effective at qualifying potentially investable Fintech’s. Vivolution has supplied a large number of qualified referrals to our Case Managers in the West and East of Scotland over the past 2 years, which LINC Scotland would have been unlikely to source directly.

By attending the SIB workshop with Scottish Angel investors, two Network Integrator funding clinics and an EIE investment event, the pro-active Vivolution consultants ensured that the Hatch AI team were funding and investor ready while bringing awareness of all potential avenues of funding to grow our company. Without Vivovolution, we would have found it difficult to secure equity investment of £520k from SIB, Business Angel Syndicates - Tri-cap and Wallace Equity, and Old College Capital as well as loan and grant funding from Scottish Edge and a Scottish Enterprise SMART feasibility grant.

Vivolution have facilitated two key events involving the SIB Portfolio and Financial Readiness Teams: • An investment workshop with 12 Fintech’s, 8 Scottish Angel Syndicate investors to discuss investor appetite, investment propositions and investor readiness. • An event with IBM giving 9 Scottish Fintech’s an opportunity to meet with IBM FS Architects, large FS companies and VC investors. Through these events, Vivolution demonstrated their wide and diverse network with their deep understanding of the Fintech sector. They've referred qualified Fintech’s into our potential investee pipeline.

It’s still early days but we now have an open dialogue with IBM on a collaboration re an Enterprise API we’re seeking to build. That wouldn’t have happened without the showcase event that Vivolution organised.

Vivolution have been integral to the success in building our business. Their commercial expertise helped us to secure the right investment quickly allowing is to grow from 2 founders to now over 40 team members. We would recommend their services to anyone with an innovative idea!

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Vivolution over the past five years. At IBM it’s our objective to help bring solutions to market that improve health outcomes for patients. Working with Vivolution, our Commercialisation Partner is critical to achieve this. Vivolution work with qualified scale-up’s continue to develop and support the relationship with IBM and Meridan IT. This collaboration showcases the potential of IBM’s platforms, including IBM PowerAI Vision, to support the rapid development and implementation of disruptive precision medicine innovation and resonates strongly with our focus on improving the scope & quality of advanced personalised healthcare.

It’s been a pleasure to work with the team at Vivolution since 2018. They have been the commercial champion for us; helping us to successfully spinout from The University of Strathclyde and recruit a commercial CEO. We are now growing our customer base and raising equity funding with continued support the support of Vivolution.

We have been engaged with Vivolution from the start of our CM-DAT journey. They helped us to "commercialise ” what was a consultancy service we provided for the Adult Social Care sector. Through their technology arm and with investment from an Innovate UK grant, we have built our Core MVP.
